Job summary

AdventHealth for Children in Orlando is seeking an RN for the Pediatric Float Pool to float across inpatient units within the organization. Nights shift, three 12-hour shifts, with weekend rotation, and working at the AdventHealth for Children facility in Orlando.

Eligible clinicians may earn salary increases up to 20% through the Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, development, and advancement criteria.

Qualifications

• One plus years pediatric nursing experience (Preferred)
• Associate's of Nursing required
• Bachelor's of Nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Participates in quality improvement activities and reports concerns regarding patient care quality.
• Recognize signs of deterioration and escalates care appropriately.
• Actively involve and educate parents/caregivers in the child’s plan of care, fostering a trusting partnership.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including medication administration checks, patient ID verification, and fall prevention practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
