Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a Registered Nurse to join Pediatric units, providing comprehensive care to neonates, children, and adolescents. You will participate in safety protocols, assessments, and care planning, with emphasis on family education and quality improvement.

The role requires a Florida RN license, a Bachelor's in Nursing, and preferably 1+ year of pediatric experience. Day shift, on-site in Orlando with full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• RN with active license in Florida
• Bachelor's of Nursing is required
• 1+ pediatric nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Participates in quality improvement activities and reports concerns regarding patient care quality.
• Follows safety protocols, including medication checks and patient ID verifications.
• Provides therapeutic nursing care for neonates, children and adolescents; conducts assessments and documents care plans.
• Processes and documents physicians' orders accurately; ensures timely patient responses are recorded.
