Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem night shifts (7pm–7am) to support our Pediatric Emergency Center and hospital units. The role emphasizes high-quality care in a Magnet-designated nursing environment with strong teamwork.

You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize outcomes. An RN license and RN degree are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate and revise them.
Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
