Job summary

Banner Health's Pediatric Outpatient Treatment Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse with pediatric experience to care for infants through young adults with hematology and oncologic needs. You will administer infusions, provide anesthesia support, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art outpatient setting.

Applicants should have current RN license, BLS, APHON chemotherapy certification or willingness to obtain, PALS and sedation knowledge preferred;

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• APHON chemotherapy certification, PALS and sedation/anesthesia knowledge are highly preferred.
• Qualified candidates must have prior RN pediatric experience.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred and relevant Banner Health experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and discharge planning.
• Formulate a plan of care and discharge plan.
• Implement the plan of care and coordinate the health care team.
• Evaluate patient progress and teaching.
• Document nursing care accurately in patient records.
