Job summary
Banner Health's Banner University Medical Center Tucson in Tucson, AZ seeks an experienced RN to join the Pediatric Oncology/BMT unit. You will provide inpatient care for pediatric/young adult patients, administer chemotherapy and related therapies, and support care around hematopoietic stem cell procedures.
Requirements include an active RN license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of acute care experience.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in state of practice with proper credentials.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of one year of acute care experience in past 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care per policy and professional standards.
- Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team for discharge planning and care continuity.
- Provide direct patient care, supervision, and communication of patient status to care partners.
- Document care and teaching, and participate in quality improvement activities.
