Yale New Haven Health Services Corp. seeks a Patient Care Associate to join an interdisciplinary team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide patient-centered care and support exam workflows.

You will assist with routine clinical tasks, prepare patients, collect specimens, monitor vitals, and maintain accurate documentation in EPIC. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an approved medical assisting program or nursing assistant training.
• Preferred 12–18 months outpatient care experience.
• Current medical assisting credential preferred by CT Department of Public Health.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist with rooming, vitals, specimen collection, and basic procedures.
• Prepare patients for visits and maintain EPIC documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Support the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality and safety.
