Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Graduate from an approved postsecondary medical assisting program, Nursing Assistant Program, or Patient Care Associate Training (preferred).
• Preference for prior outpatient clinical experience and clinical competency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient rooming and preparing for visits.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and staff in a diverse setting.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for procedures.
• Support clerical tasks and use EPIC for patient records and intake.
