Job summary

Cortica - Neurodevelopmental is seeking an occupational therapist to join its multi-disciplinary team. You will assess, diagnose, and treat sensory integration, sensorimotor, motor, feeding, and developmental disorders in children, utilizing Cortica’s Whole Child Approach.

The role offers in-clinic and telehealth therapy, collaboration with transdisciplinary teams, and a compensation package with base pay range $77,422 to $96,778, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted OT license in the practice state.
• Master’s degree in related field.
• First aid/CPR certification.
• TB clearance.
• Ability to obtain licensure in other states where Cortica operates.

Responsibilities

• Establish OT treatment goals using assessment tools aligned with Cortica’s Whole Child Approach.
• Collaborate with transdisciplinary team to create treatment plans and integrative strategies.
• Provide individual, group, and co-treat therapy sessions as appropriate.
• Contribute to autism diagnostic process with clinical insight and standardized assessments when appropriate.
• Provide therapy in-person in clinic and via telehealth as clinically appropriate.
• Complete documentation within designated timeframes.
• Provide neurodiversity-affirming, play- and goal-based interventions.
• Facilitate functional, child-led experiences to achieve goals.
• Use transdisciplinary care strategies to engage in activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with family to understand values and goals.
• Implement programming across sensory, motor, cognitive, communicative, recreational and social domains.
• Educate families and caregivers on strategies and generalization activities.
• Attend transdisciplinary rounds and trainings.
