Job summary

Cortica is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to join the Marin County center in CA. You will assess and treat children with neurodevelopmental differences within Cortica’s Whole Child Approach, collaborating with a transdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include in-person and telehealth sessions, documentation, and family education. A master’s degree and CA OT license, plus TB clearance and CPR, are required.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice (CA).
• Master’s degree in a related field is required.
• First aid/CPR training.
• TB clearance or point-of-care clearance.
• Safety training within the first 90 days of employment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensure in other states where Cortica operates.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat sensory integration, sensorimotor, motor, feeding, and developmental disorders in children.
• Provide in-clinic and telehealth OT sessions as appropriate.
• Develop treatment plans with transdisciplinary team and document within Cortica timelines.
• Contribute to neurodevelopmental assessments and use standardized tools when appropriate (e.g., ADOS contextually).
• Educate families on strategies and generalization activities to support home routines.
