Job summary

KidsCare Home Health in Texas is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home pediatric therapy to children with special needs. You will assess, treat, and train families, collaborating with a care team to tailor home programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current state-issued professional licensure is required.
• Valid state driver license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine, evaluate, and administer remedial treatments for pediatric patients.
• Provide clinical treatment including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and family training.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with pediatric patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients and family members to appropriate services.
• Consult with physician on patient progress and maintains records.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
