Job summary

MDS Staffing is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join an outpatient pediatric clinic in the Kansas City metro. The role offers full-time or part-time hours with 1:1 therapy for children, and a ready-made caseload in a supportive team. You will evaluate, treat ages 3–6, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and document in OpenEMR.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible Occupational Therapist.
• Interest in working with a pediatric population.
• Comfortable working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for providing individualized, child-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy to children (ages 3–6).
• Work primarily with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Provide 1:1 therapy sessions lasting approximately 30–60 minutes.
• Complete evaluations, typically scheduled for approximately 90 minutes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric professionals.
• Complete documentation using OpenEMR.
• Manage your daily caseload and schedule within clinic operating hours.
