Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a growing pediatric therapy team in the Kansas City area. The role focuses on early childhood therapy with a strong focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder in an ABA-based setting.

The OT will have a established caseload with 3–6 year-olds, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and enjoy flexibility in daily scheduling. Open EMR documentation is part of daily duties and there are opportunities for leadership

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible Occupational Therapist required.
• COTA welcome as part of the team.
• Interest in pediatric population required.
• Comfortable working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Child-centered, individualized care mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy to children (ages 3–6).
• Work primarily with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Provide 1:1 therapy sessions lasting ~30–60 minutes.
• Complete evaluations, typically ~90 minutes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric professionals.

Setting: Outpatient Pediatric Clinic

Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time (Choose your own hours)

Compensation: $80,000–$130,000+

Join a Collaborative Pediatric Team

We are seeking a passionate Occupation Therapist (OT) to join a growing pediatric therapy team in the Kansas City area. The clinic serves children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, providing individualized therapy within an ABA-based setting.

This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working with young children, values collaboration, and wants the flexibility to build a caseload that works for them. You’ll work alongside a strong multidisciplinary team in an established clinical environment with a consistent pediatric population and plenty of opportunity to grow.

One of the biggest advantages of this opportunity is caseload availability. There is a strong patient population already in place, allowing clinicians to maintain a desired caseload size without having to build a caseload from scratch.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individualized therapy to children (mostly ages 3–6)
• Work primarily with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Provide 1:1 therapy sessions lasting approximately 30–60 minutes
• Complete evaluations, typically scheduled for approximately 90 minutes
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric professionals
• Complete documentation using OpenEMR
• Manage your daily caseload and schedule within clinic operating hours

Schedule & Flexibility

Clinicians have flexibility in determining the number of sessions they see each day, allowing you to build a caseload that aligns with your professional and income goals. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with no weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible Occupational Therapist. COTA also welcome.
• Interest in working with a pediatric population
• Comfortable working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for providing individualized, child-centered care
