Job summary

MDS Staffing seeks a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a growing outpatient pediatric clinic in the Kansas City metro area (Gladstone or Lee's Summit, MO).

You will provide 1:1 therapy for children ages 3–6, primarily ASD, with flexible full- or part-time schedules and a supportive multidisciplinary team.

OpenEMR documentation is used for evaluations and daily caseload management, with strong caseload demand and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible OT; COTA welcome.
• Interest in working with a pediatric population.
• Comfortable working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for providing individualized, child-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy to children (ages 3–6).
• Work primarily with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Provide 1:1 therapy sessions lasting approximately 30–60 minutes.
• Complete evaluations, typically scheduled for approximately 90 minutes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric professionals.
• Complete documentation using OpenEMR.
• Manage daily caseload and schedule within clinic operating hours.

Compensation: $80,000–$130,000+

Join a Collaborative Pediatric Team

We are seeking a passionate Occupation Therapist (OT) to join a growing pediatric therapy team in the Kansas City area. The clinic serves children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, providing individualized therapy within an ABA-based setting.

This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working with young children, values collaboration, and wants the flexibility to build a caseload that works for them. You’ll work alongside a strong multidisciplinary team in an established clinical environment with a consistent pediatric population and plenty of opportunity to grow.

One of the biggest advantages of this opportunity is caseload availability. There is a strong patient population already in place, allowing clinicians to maintain a desired caseload size without having to build a caseload from scratch.

What You’ll Do

Schedule & Flexibility

Clinicians have flexibility in determining the number of sessions they see each day, allowing you to build a caseload that aligns with your professional and income goals. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with no weekend requirements.
