Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver center-based early intervention for children ages 2 to 6. You will work within an interdisciplinary clinical team to support development of motor, sensory, feeding, and daily living skills using the ESDM framework.

The role emphasizes collaborative care, family-centered goal setting, and ongoing data-driven progress monitoring. A strong license and a passion for pediatric interdisciplinary work are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current OT license to practice.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate OT for children ages 2 to 6.
• Develop interventions for fine and gross motor, feeding, sensory needs, and activities of daily living.
• Conduct assessments and coordinate treatment plans with SLPs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians.
• Integrate OT goals with Soar's ESDM-informed early intervention approach.
• Support children with autism through naturalistic, engaging, individualized treatment.
• Partner with families to set meaningful goals and practical strategies.
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians to reinforce OT goals throughout the day.
• Monitor progress and adapt plans based on data and clinical judgment.
