Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support young children (ages 2–6) within an early intervention program. You will contribute to motor, sensory, feeding, and daily living skills using an ES DM-informed, naturalistic therapy model.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, family coaching, and data-driven progress monitoring to optimize outcomes for children with autism.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (or eligible with a Bachelor's).
• Current license to practice occupational therapy.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate OT for children ages 2–6.
• Develop interventions for motor skills, feeding, sensory needs, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with SLPs, BCBAs, psychologists and other clinicians.
• Integrate OT goals into Soar’s ESDM-informed approach to early intervention.
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies.
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians to reinforce goals throughout the day.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data and clinical judgment.
