Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help children ages 2–6 develop motor, sensory, feeding, and daily living skills in a center-based early intervention setting. The interdisciplinary team uses the ESDM-informed approach to support the whole child and family.

You will collaborate with SLPs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians, while partnering with families to set meaningful goals and practical strategies for outside therapy.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in OT required or eligible for licensure.
• Current license to practice occupational therapy.
• Experience with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver OT for children ages 2–6.
• Develop interventions for fine and gross motor skills, feeding, sensory needs, and ADLs.
• Conduct assessments and coordinate treatment plans with SLPs, BCBAs, psychologists, and clinicians.
• Integrate OT goals with ES DM approach to early intervention.
• Support children with autism through naturalistic, individualized therapy.
• Partner with families to set meaningful goals and practical strategies.
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians to reinforce goals.
• Monitor progress and adapt plans based on data and clinical judgment.
