Job summary

Soar Autism Center is hiring an Occupational Therapist to work with children ages 2-6 in a center-based early intervention setting. You will help develop motor, sensory, feeding, and daily living skills while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in an ES DM-informed approach.

The role offers full-time schedules with base pay ranging from $86,000 to $103,500 per year, plus annual performance bonuses and opportunities for clinical certification growth.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy, unless eligible for licensure based on a Bachelor's degree.
• Current license to practice occupational therapy.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate occupational therapy for children ages 2-6.
• Develop individualized interventions addressing fine and gross motor skills, feeding, sensory needs, and activities of daily living.
• Conduct assessments and develop coordinated treatment plans with SLPs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians.
• Integrate occupational therapy goals into Soar's ESDM-informed approach to early intervention.
• Support children with autism through naturalistic, engaging, individualized treatment.
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies they can use outside of therapy.
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so occupational therapy goals are reinforced throughout each child's day.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data, clinical judgment, and each child's needs.
