Job summary

Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric services from neonate to adolescent, including evaluation and treatment of self-care, play, sensory integration, and cognitive and psychosocial skills.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, develop age-appropriate treatment plans, supervise rehab technicians, and assist with discharge planning and family education.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• NBCOT Certification is required.
• Eligible for Arizona Occupational Therapist license.
• Current AZ DPS fingerprint clearance card prior to start date.
• Current BLS certification prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats pediatric patients (neonate to adolescent) with occupational performance disorders, develops age-appropriate goals and plans.
• Supervises rehab technicians and/or students and participates in in-service training.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines and participates in discharge planning and family education.
• Maintains documentation in compliance with Joint Commission/CARF standards.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as requested.
