Job summary

Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC, seeks a faculty orthopedics physician to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital and clinic setting, participate in teaching, research, and advocacy. The role includes leading a clinical team, on-call duties, and collaboration with community partners to advance pediatric musculoskeletal health, under the Division Chief and Center leadership.

Candidates must be board certified or eligible, hold an MD, and be committed to world-class care,

Qualifications

• MD from an accredited medical school is required.
• Board certified or eligible in primary specialty; board certification in secondary specialty preferred.
• Ability to function independently in evaluating patient problems and planning care.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services for pediatric orthopedics patients in hospital and clinic settings.
• Oversee medical care team and direct patient care for a defined population.
• Participate in on-call duties as determined by division leadership.
• Engage in advocacy, research, and education initiatives in line with CNMC leadership.
• Ensure timely documentation and adherence to quality and safety standards.
