Qualifications

• MD from an accredited medical school.
• Fully licensed and credentialed attending on Children’s National Medical Center.
• Board certified or eligible in primary specialty.
• Board certification in relevant secondary specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services for patients in hospital and clinics.
• Provide oversight of the medical care team and on-call services.
• Participate in family-centered care and communicate with patients, families, and trainees.
• Escalate issues through defined chain of command and policies.
• Engage in advocacy, education, and research initiatives as directed.
