Qualifications

• MD required from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or eligible for board certification in primary practice specialty.
• Board certification in relevant secondary specialty preferred.
• Fully licensed and credentialed attending staff of Children’s National Medical Center.
• Ability to supervise, advise, and train clinical professionals and/or students.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services for patients at Children’s National Hospital and clinics.
• Provide oversight of the medical care team and manage direct patient care.
• Provide on-call services as determined by division leadership.
• Participate in advocacy, research, and education initiatives.
• Adhere to quality, safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
