Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN for pediatric acute care in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN role offers self-scheduling and W2 employment to support flexible staffing in a pediatric surgical setting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in pediatric OR, Ohio RN license, BSN (or in progress), and BLS/ACLS; CNOR and PALS are a plus, with strong assessment and critical thinking essential to safe perioperative care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Must have American Heart Association (AHA) certification.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room, performing assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
