Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for OR for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply for their passion in nursing and being in the OR. Candidates with OR experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

The OR RN provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room, performs assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery, and ensures continuity of care with the team.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 2 years RN OR (Peds) OR experience in OR.
• Ohio RN license required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred; credentialing ability required.
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements.
• Pediatric acute care and OR experience in plastics, reconstruction or laser is a plus.
