Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity offers flexible self-scheduling and a path to W2 employment for qualified candidates.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years in OR (Peds), an Ohio RN license, and a BSN (or in progress). BLS and ACLS are required, with PALS preferred for pediatric cases and CNOR highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN OR experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN license required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements.
• Pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room.
• Perform assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assist the physician and ensure continuity between units and OR.
