Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity supports flexible scheduling and self-scheduling arrangements.

PRN nurses with OR (Peds) experience are strongly encouraged to apply, with W2 employment status and weekly direct deposit pay. The nurse will perform assessments, maintain patient safety during surgery, support the physician, and ensure continuity between the PACU and operating room in

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Pass background screening and onboarding requirements.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room.
• Perform assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assist the physician in the plan of care and ensure continuity between the patient care unit and the OR.
