Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for OR for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply for their passion in nursing and being in the OR.

Candidates with OR experience are strongly encouraged to apply. The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience in OR (Peds).
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the OR and perform safety-focused assessments.
• Assist the physician with the plan of care and ensure continuity between PACU and OR.
