Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking a Pediatric OR Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN role in Dayton, OH. The OR (Peds) unit requires an experienced RN to support pediatric surgical patients in a pediatric acute care hospital setting.

The position offers self-scheduling (PRN), W2 employment, and a pay rate of $48–$52 per hour based on experience. Start date is as soon as credentialing is completed, with flexible scheduling and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License is required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• BLS certification required; ACLS required; PALS preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room.
• Assist the physician in accomplishing the plan of care and ensure safety during surgery.
• Maintain continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
