Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply their passion for nursing in the OR and adapt to flexible scheduling.

Candidates with OR experience in pediatrics are strongly encouraged to apply. W2 employment, weekly pay, and benefits are provided where eligible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the OR.
• Perform assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assist physicians and ensure continuity between patient care units and the OR.
