Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN for a Pediatric Acute Care Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity requires OR (Peds) experience, Ohio RN license, and BSN in progress or completed. Competitive pay with weekly direct deposit and flexible scheduling.

The role involves perioperative nursing care, patient assessments, and collaboration with physicians to ensure safe surgical plans and smooth patient flow between units.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• AAHA/Heart Association Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• The OR RN provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room, performs assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care and ensures continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
