Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN for a pediatric acute care setting in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN role focuses on perioperative nursing for pediatric patients in the operating room, with emphasis on safety and continuity of care.

Requirements include 2+ years of OR (Peds) RN experience, Ohio RN license, BSN in progress or completed, and current BLS/ACLS; CNOR preferred. Strong critical thinking and patient assessment are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN license required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Must have American Heart Associtation.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
