Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing seeks an experienced RN for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling and requires 2+ years of OR (Peds) experience, along with an Ohio RN license, BSN, and active BLS/ACLS certifications.

Ideal candidates may have CNOR and PALS, plus the ability to pass onboarding and background checks. W2 employment status with competitive compensation is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Must have American Heart Association Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
