2020 Onsite is seeking a licensed optometrist to provide comprehensive eye exams to Boston Public Schools students. Exams can be done on our mobile clinic or inside school facilities, with a flexible schedule from 1 to 5 days per week. Every student receives a free eye exam and glasses when needed.

This role suits an optometrist seeking meaningful community work that fits around an existing schedule. Exams occur Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with locations rotating across Boston

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Optometrist license in Massachusetts (OD).
• Comfortable and experienced working with pediatric patients.
• Reliable and punctual with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a mobile clinic or school-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pediatric eye exams for Boston Public Schools, on mobile clinic or in-school spaces.
• Diagnose refractive errors and prescribe corrective lenses as needed.
• Accurately document exam findings and prescriptions per standards.
• Communicate exam results and recommendations to school staff and families.
