Job summary

Eye Catching Jobs is seeking a licensed optometrist to join a mobile clinic serving Portland, OR. The role is part-time/contract, requiring travel across the greater Portland area to provide school-based eye exams and glasses to students in underserved communities.

Ideal candidates hold an Oregon Optometry license, enjoy flexible scheduling, and can pass background checks. The position offers meaningful, community-focused work with no nights or weekends required, aside from rare voluntary

Qualifications

• Oregon Optometry License is required.
• Must be able to commute throughout portions of the greater Portland area due to mobile clinic.
• Must pass Department of Justice background check (LiveScan) and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision evaluations, check VA’s, assess binocular vision, IOP, pupils, perform refraction and prescribe correction.
• Prescribe vision devices, test patient on equipment and instruct proper use.
• Ensure patient diagnosis is properly documented in internal systems.
