Job summary

Eye Catching Jobs is seeking a licensed Optometrist to join a Mobile Optometry team serving Georgetown and surrounding Sussex County, DE. Part-time, contract role with a focus on school-aged children and underserved communities, delivering vision care in a mobile clinic setting.

You will conduct comprehensive eye exams, prescribe corrective devices, and coordinate eyeglass delivery while supporting a mission-driven environment and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Optometry required.
• Must pass Department of Justice background check (LiveScan) and drug test.
• Must be licensed to practice optometry in Delaware and able to commute across the greater Sussex County area.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision evaluations: VA checks, binocular vision, IOP, refraction and prescribe correction; assess ocular health.
• Prescribe vision devices and tests using available equipment; instruct patients on proper use.
• Ensure patient diagnosis is properly documented in internal systems.
