Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health in New Jersey is seeking a Night Shift RN for the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology unit. This 11-bed unit provides care from infants to young adults, including chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant support.

The role requires an active NJ RN license, AHA BLS, ADN minimum with BSN preferred, and EPIC EMR experience. Schedule is 36 hours/week, 7pm–7:30am. We offer a market-competitive Total Rewards package and a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; Associate's required.
Experience in Pediatric Oncology preferred; EMR proficiency (EPIC) advantageous.

Responsibilities

Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
Serving as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers to support timely, coordinated care.
Providing clear, compassionate education to patients and families.
Ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR to promote continuity and safety.
Contributing to interdisciplinary rounds to drive seamless communication.
Fostering a collaborative team culture and flexible shift adaptability.
