Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health's Pediatric Hematology/Oncology unit is seeking a Night shift RN in New Jersey. This 11-bed unit delivers specialized care from infancy through young adulthood, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, transfusions, and bone marrow transplantation.

Active NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, APHON chemotherapy certification, and 1 year pediatric experience required. Night shift, 36 hours/week; EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS, PALS required.
• APHON Chemotherapy Certification preferred; 1 year pediatric experience required.
• Prior pediatric oncology experience preferred; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol with safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families to support informed decision making.
• Document accurately in the EMR and ensure continuity of care.
