Job summary

Banner Health is hiring an experienced registered nurse for the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Pediatric Surgery unit in Mesa, AZ. This full-time night-shift role supports neonates to adolescents with diverse cancer and blood disorders, collaborating with a wide interdisciplinary team.

You will participate in shared leadership activities, pursue APHON certification, and provide compassionate, family-centered care in a state-of-the-art 24-bed unit.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required for Banner facilities in AZ.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care per policy and professional standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Document care accurately in the patient’s chart and records.
• Provide education and support to patients and families throughout care.
