Abbott is seeking a Pediatric Office Sales Specialist to support territory sales goals within our Pediatric Nutrition division, promoting Similac, PediaSure and Pedialyte across pediatric, OB‑GYN, and family practices in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas. The role requires a Bachelors degree, at least two years of sales experience in a medical office setting, and pediatrics experience is preferred.

Local candidates only; relocation is not offered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support territory sales goals in each physician’s office service area for Similac, PediaSure and Pedialyte.
• Call on Pediatric, OBGyn and Family Practices.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines, and deliver the information in a selling environment.
• Participate in new product launches.
• Work effectively with Physicians, Nurses, and Dietitians.
• Handle effective administrative skills.
• Manage budgets.
• Function independently with high initiative, independence and autonomy.
• Be self‑motivated, seeking success at achieving both short‑ and long‑term goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proven track record of success and at least two years of sales experience in a medical office setting.
• Experience in pediatrics preferred; a background as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Nurse (RN) strongly valued.
• Must be able to lift up to 15lbs to assist with stocking and the movement of pediatric products.
• Must reside in the Charlotte, NC area or surrounding southern suburbs; local candidates only. This position does not offer relocation.

Territory & Location

Assigned territory includes Charlotte, Columbia, Lexington, Florence, & Sumter. The position is listed as Remote under the “United States of America : Remote” designation, but only local candidates are eligible.

Compensation

The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.

• Work shift: Standard.
• Travel: Yes, 5% of the time.

Significant Work Activities

• Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
• Continuous walking for prolonged periods (more than 2 hours at a time in an 8 hour day)
