Job summary

Arbor Therapy is seeking a compassionate and energetic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Mesa clinic. In this full-time role, you'll provide engaging, evidence-based occupational therapy services that help children strengthen their independence and achieve meaningful developmental goals.

You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and support staff in a caring, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Active Arizona OTA license in good standing.
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one.
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain it.
  • Passion for working with children and families.
  • Strong communication, organization, documentation, and teamwork skills.
  • Pediatric experience or interest in early intervention, developmental disabilities, and sensory integration.
  • Feeding therapy experience or interest is a plus.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct pediatric occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans designed to support meaningful functional outcomes.
  • Deliver engaging, play-based interventions addressing fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, regulation, and developmental skills.
  • Monitor client progress and communicate relevant updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
  • Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with OTs, COTAs, SLPs, SLPAs, PTs, PTAs, caregivers, and other members of the care team.
  • Educate and support families through home-program recommendations and ongoing communication.
  • Create a positive, compassionate, and welcoming experience for clients and families.

Full-Time | Outpatient Pediatrics | Saturday Pay Differential

Arbor Therapy is seeking a compassionate and energetic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing Mesa clinic. In this full-time role, you'll provide engaging, evidence-based occupational therapy services that help children strengthen their independence and achieve meaningful developmental goals.

You'll work alongside experienced occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, therapy assistants, and support staff in a collaborative environment where your expertise and professional growth are valued.

What You'll Do

Working Conditions

This position requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, bending, reaching, and lifting while providing direct pediatric therapy services. Team members work with children who have a variety of developmental, sensory, physical, behavioral, and communication needs in an active outpatient clinic environment.
