Job summary

Arbor Therapy in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary outpatient team for children with developmental, sensory, and functional needs. This is a full-time role in a collaborative clinical environment.

You will evaluate and treat children, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress while partnering with families for home programs. The position emphasizes mentorship, professional growth, and a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain).
  • Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain before start date).
  • Passion for working with children and families.
  • Experience or interest in pediatrics, early intervention, developmental disabilities, sensory integration, and feeding therapy.
  • Interest or experience with AAC is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Monitor client progress and modify interventions to achieve meaningful outcomes.
  • Educate and partner with families through home program recommendations and ongoing communication.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, and other team members.
  • Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
  • Mentor students and supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) when applicable.

What You'll Do

Working Conditions

This position requires standing, walking, kneeling, bending, lifting, and sitting throughout the workday while providing direct patient care. Therapists work with children who have a variety of developmental, sensory, physical, and behavioral needs in a dynamic outpatient pediatric clinic.
