Connect Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-home therapy team serving children in the San Antonio, TX area. The role emphasizes building strong relationships with families while delivering comprehensive, family-centered care in the home setting.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to create individualized treatment plans, document progress, and communicate goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home pediatric therapy services.
• Communicate progress and goals with families on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop holistic plans.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and update the care team.

Responsibilities

Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.

Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient

Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.

Actively participate in implementing treatment programs as developed by Supervising OT and discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
