Job summary

Cortica is hiring an Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team in Oregon. You will assess, diagnose, and treat sensory integration, sensorimotor, motor, feeding, and developmental disorders in children using Cortica's Whole Child Approach.

You’ll collaborate with transdisciplinary colleagues, provide in-clinic and telehealth therapy, and contribute to documentation and family education. We value diverse approaches and pediatric passion in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestrictive license for Occupational Therapy in the state of practice.
• Master's degree in related field.
• First aid/CPR training.
• Tuberculosis (TB) clearance.
• Safety training within the first 90 days of employment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensure in other states where Cortica operates.
• Appreciation for a wide range of therapeutic approaches.
• Passion for working with children.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Establish OT treatment goals through assessment tools aligned with Cortica's Whole Child Approach.
• Collaborate with transdisciplinary team to create integrated treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and co-treat therapies as appropriate.
• Contribute to autism diagnostic process with clinical insights and standardized assessments.
• Deliver in-person and telehealth OT services.
• Complete documentation within Cortica timelines.
• Provide neurodiversity affirming, play- and goal-based interventions.
• Facilitate child-led functional experiences to reach goals.
• Use transdisciplinary care strategies to help daily living occupations.
• Collaborate with families to understand values, interests, and goals.
• Implement comprehensive programming addressing sensory, motor, cognitive, communication, recreational, and social aspects.
• Educate patients and families on strategies and generalization activities.
• Attend transdisciplinary rounds and trainings.
