Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide in-home, pediatric occupational therapy services. You will assess needs, develop treatment plans, and guide families to support the child’s development in the home setting.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and caregivers, document progress, and promote evidence-based practice while maintaining compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current state licensure is required.
• Valid state driver license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Pediatric clinical experience is preferred.
• Home health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and administer occupational therapy for pediatric patients in home health.
• Direct patients and caregivers in activities to restore or enhance performance.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients to appropriate services and resources as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians on patient progress and maintain records.
• Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities.
