Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric home health services, evaluating and treating children in their homes and guiding families in therapy tasks. The role emphasizes a caring, ethical approach with leadership opportunities within a supportive team.

The OT will collaborate with physicians and office staff, maintain records, and participate in continuing education, QA, and mentoring programs.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current state-issued professional licensure is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Pediatric clinical experience is preferred.
• Home health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, organize, and conduct occupational therapy for pediatric patients in home health settings.
• Direct patients and caregivers in tasks to restore or enhance performance.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with family regarding progress and discharge planning.
• Mentor students and new hires and participate in professional organizations.
