Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric therapy in clients' homes, evaluating and guiding families to support independence and daily function. The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, mentorship opportunities, and a supportive team culture focused on pediatric care.

The position requires a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, Texas state licensure, CPR certification, and a valid driver license; pediatric/home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current state licensure as an OT in Texas.
• CPR certification is required.
• A valid Texas driver license is required.
• Pediatric clinical experience and home health experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, organize, and conduct occupational therapy for pediatric patients in the home health setting.
• Direct the patient and caregiver in tasks to restore, reinforce and/or enhance performance.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Communicate progress and home program details with family and care teams.
• Refer patients to appropriate services and participate in planning and discharge processes.
• Maintain records and participate in QA/QI activities.
