Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to implement OT plans for children aged 2–6 within a center-based early intervention program. The role emphasizes motor, sensory, feeding, and daily living skills, integrated in a naturalistic ESDM approach and coordinated with a multidisciplinary team.

The candidate should hold a Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, hold a current license, and bring strong clinical judgment with excellent communication and family collaboration

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy required or eligible for licensure
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills in pediatric setting
• Experience working with children preferred
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and family engagement skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate occupational therapy for children ages 2–6
• Develop individualized interventions addressing motor, sensory, feeding, and activities of daily living
• Conduct assessments and develop coordinated treatment plans with SLPs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians
• Integrate OT goals into Soar's ESDM-informed approach to early intervention
• Support children with autism through naturalistic, engaging, individualized treatment
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so OT goals are reinforced throughout each child’s day
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data and clinical judgment
