Job summary

Soar Autism Center is hiring an Occupational Therapist to work with children ages 2 to 6 in a center-based early intervention setting. You will help build motor, sensory, feeding, and daily living skills while collaborating with an interdisciplinary clinical team using the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM).

This role offers 4x10 or 5x8 schedules, base pay of $86,000 to $103,500 per year, and an annual performance bonus up to $3,800, plus additional certification incentives.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current license to practice occupational therapy.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate OT for children ages 2 to 6.
• Develop interventions for fine and gross motor skills, feeding, sensory needs, and activities of daily living.
• Conduct assessments and develop coordinated treatment plans with SLPs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians.
• Integrate OT goals into Soar's ESDM-informed approach to early intervention.
• Support children with autism through naturalistic, engaging, individualized treatment.
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies they can use outside of therapy.
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so OT goals are reinforced throughout each child's day.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data, clinical judgment, and each child's needs.
