Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Westminster, CO is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver developmentally appropriate OT services for children ages 2–6 within a center-based early intervention program. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to plan individualized interventions addressing motor, sensory, feeding, and daily living skills, aligned with the Early Start Denver Model.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy degree is required/preferred
• Current OT license to practice is required
• Experience with children is preferred
• Interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate occupational therapy for children ages 2–6
• Develop interventions addressing fine and gross motor skills, feeding, sensory needs, and activities of daily living
• Conduct assessments and develop coordinated treatment plans with SLPs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians
• Integrate OT goals into Soar’s ESDM-informed approach to early intervention
• Support children with autism through naturalistic, individualized treatment
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies they can use outside of therapy
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians so OT goals are reinforced throughout each child’s day
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data, clinical judgment, and each child’s needs
