Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Colorado is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help children aged 2–6 develop motor, sensory, feeding, and daily living skills in a center-based early intervention setting.

You will work within an interdisciplinary team, deliver developmentally appropriate therapy, align goals with the ESDM-informed approach, and partner with families to implement practical strategies at home.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy, unless eligible for licensure based on a Bachelor’s degree.
• Current license to practice occupational therapy.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate occupational therapy for children ages 2–6
• Develop interventions addressing motor, feeding, sensory needs, and activities of daily living
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans with SLPs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians
• Integrate OT goals into Soar’s ESDM-informed approach to early intervention
• Support children with autism through naturalistic, individualized treatment
• Partner with families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies
• Collaborate with RBTs and other clinicians to reinforce OT goals
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data and needs
