Job summary

Lubbock Independent School District is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the ECI DEBT Program to support infants and toddlers in the 0-3 range. The role focuses on ensuring adherence to state and federal requirements, with pediatric therapy expertise guiding assessments, IFSP development, and coordinated services for families.

The position requires Texas licensure and a degree in occupational therapy, with experience in pediatric settings preferred.

Qualifications

• Texas licensure in occupational therapy is required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree depending on licensure year.
• Experience in pediatric therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the assessment process for children referred for services due to delayed and/or atypical motor responses/behaviors.
• Participates in IFSP meetings for children exhibiting atypical motor behavior, sharing assessment information and assisting with IFSP development.
• Prepares written recommendations for children with atypical motor behaviors for families and staff.
• Collaborates with teachers, service coordinators, parents and staff on motor status and therapeutic needs.
• Serves as service coordinator for family case management and resource identification.
• Maintains and submits documentation such as therapy reports and monthly service logs.
